Biographie

Marie-Berthe Leblanc : Je suis née dans le Québec francophone, au Canada. Diplômée de l’Université Laval en traduction, j’ai été traductrice pigiste.

À un tournant de ma vie, j’ai choisi un parcours de carrière davantage en lien avec mes aspirations profondes : les soins naturels en santé alternative – Wellness – et la communication authentique. Depuis plus de 25 ans, je suis Massothérapeute et Coach certifiée. Je suis également formatrice sur la plate-forme internationale Udemy.com. Maman de deux fils et grand-maman de quatre petits-fils, j’ai écrit mon premier roman cette année ; preuve qu’il n’y a pas d’âge pour avoir des projets et les concrétiser.

Depuis longtemps, je me promettais d’écrire mon histoire « un jour ». J’ai reçu des encouragements sincères de mes proches. Aussi, en plus du temps et de l’énergie que j’y ai consacré, j’y ai mis mon âme. J’ai écrit cette histoire qui, croit-on, n’arrive qu’aux autres… BERTHE Le Silence de ma Mère. Puis, je l’ai traduit en anglais sous le titre: BERTHE My Mother’s Silence.

Je souhaite inspirer les adoptés et adoptées et leurs parents adoptifs et légitimes à connaître la paix intérieure. La dernière page du livre annonce la mise à jour de la loi au Québec. Il y a enfin de l’espoir…

Marie-Berthe Leblanc: I was born in French Quebec, Canada. I graduated as a Translator at Laval University. I was a freelance translator.

At a turning point in my life, I chose a career path more in alinement with my deep aspirations: Natural Health & Wellness and Authentic Communications.

For more than 25 years, I’ve worked as a certified Massage Therapist and Life Coach. I also teach on the Udemy.com international platform.
I am a mother and a grandma, and this year I wrote my first novel; proof that there is no age to pursue projects and to realize them.

For a long time, I envisioned writing a book « someday ». That day has arrived! Friends and relatives encouraged me in this challenging goal. They said that my story needed to be told. So I put in much time, energy and even my soul, writing this story of one’s adoption: my very own…
Then, I translated BERTHE Le Silence de ma Mère, which in English became: BERTHE My Mother’s Silence.

I wish to inspire adoptees, adoptive and legitimate parents to experience inner peace. If you take a look at the last page of the novel, you’ll read « The Update of the Law in Quebec. » There is hope after all…
